Privacy policy

Draft pending legal review. This policy is written to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025, and must be reviewed by a qualified Indian data-protection lawyer before the site goes live.

Who we are

Shri Jagannath Builder & Developer, Office No. 3, Plot No. 85, Main Road, Balaji Enclave, Govindpuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – 201013. For the purposes of the DPDP Act we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry we collect your name and mobile number, and optionally your email address, your requirement, and your budget. We collect these for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry about property. We do not collect anything we do not need for that.

We also record which page you enquired from, how you reached the site, and a one-way hash of your IP address. We never store your raw IP address.

Your consent

We ask for consent in two separate parts, and neither is pre-ticked:

• Contact consent — permission to call, SMS, email or WhatsApp you about the enquiry you sent. This is required to answer you.
• Marketing consent — permission to send you new listings and market updates. This is optional and separate. Declining it does not affect your enquiry.

We store the exact wording you agreed to, together with the date and time.

Withdrawing consent

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Reply STOP to any message, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us at shrijagannathbuilderdeveloper@gmail.com. We will act on it and confirm.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to us and we will respond.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as we are actively helping you, and for a defined period afterwards for our records. Beyond that, records are anonymised or deleted.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — hosting and email — under written agreements that bind them to the same protections.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS, stored on access-controlled systems, and IP addresses are hashed rather than stored. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the Rules require.

Grievances

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, contact our grievance officer at shrijagannathbuilderdeveloper@gmail.com. If we do not resolve it, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
